Happy Tax Day! We have had our refund for about 2 months, so this day was not a big deal. Besides, I don't mind paying for fire and police protection, the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, and the roads we drive on!

Over Easter weekend, I went to Savannah to see Savannah and her parents. Jon had been feeling bad for a couple of days and didn't feel up to making the trip. It is a 6 hour trip. But off I went, and wow, did I have fun! Miss Savannah is at such a cute age. I will post some pictures, although Sue posted some on her blog, and they are pretty good. Savannah has learned to say Grammy and Poppie pretty well, and she cried when I left, even though I'm not sure if it was because I was leaving or that she was tired.

The picture of Savannah (I still can't figure out how to get the picture where I want it!) shows how grown up she is. She looks like a model, doesn't she? Obviously, the other picture is the happy family. Savannah does tend to get shy when you bring out the camera, plus my camera has a delay, and if she is smiling when I take the picture, she might not be by the time the picture is actually taken! It's frustrating.

I need to take some more pictures of Harrison so I can include him. That will be my next post.

Updating Pictures

I'm finally getting around to adding some pictures from MLK weekend when the Stephens' were here visiting before we left to go to SC for Big Daddy's funeral. I'm still learning to work on this blog site, so bear with me. I haven't had my tutorial from Jayne yet!

Savannah and Harrison are still pretty much "checking each other out" at this age. Savannah needs to get used to Mommy holding another baby, since she has a sibling on the way!

Harrison is just beginning to eat baby food, so he was "sharing" the booster seat while he was at our house visiting his cousin Savannah.

Who is that masked collander?!? Ahh, good old Tupperware...

Savannah is always able to help me re-organize my cabinets when she comes. She's very good at taking things out, it's the putting away that has escaped her thus far! I purposely save all of my Cool-Whip bowls for her to re-arrange.

Here is Miss Savannah enjoying some of Grammy's baked spaghetti - always does a Grammy good to see her enjoying it so much!

Getting started

Jon has said I need to post more pictures of our grandchilden, and since this is a grandparent blog, I guess he is correct. I do want to learn how to show our children's blogs on our blog, but may have to wait to get Jayne to help! So, I'm including some pictures, and even if the writing is not where it's supposed to be on the page, at least it's here! Wait, I think I have added their blogs. If you see them, then I somehow figured it out!

We are enjoying the blogs that our children have so much that we decided to join them! Heck if I'm on Facebook already, having a blog couldn't be far behind! It will take me a while to get the hang of it, but I am sure I will get some good pointers from Jayne and Sue!!
